Kevin, Congrats again on running your first 8 sec pass! I'm glad that you did well this year. You are a super nice guy and deserved to do well after 4 years of abuse
It was nice seeing the ole 1g coming alive after all these years. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for that car. It definitely has a lot of potential... the car goes straight as an arrow!

You were behind me in the entrance. I was the black evo 8 with nj plates. I was wondering if the bad bish was truely daily driven. I was thinking to myself...Man i cant wait to see the bad bish once i get in..BOOM!! Next thing you know i look in my rearview and i see you and dave in the passenger seat..I had to do a triple take...lol..You sure drove the hell out of that car..Im sure most people noticed me as i was one of the few asian people there with my father... .Definately worth the 8 hr trip..I will be coming back next year !

I'm glad that you had a great time at the shootout! I do remember seeing you in front of us. David had me drive the car to the track so I could get a feel for it. I hadn't driven the car in almost 2 years...lol. You should have came up and introduced yourself after we got into the racetrack. Thanks for the compliments on my driving. Hopefully I'll see ya next year
I wish I would have made it Saturday, I feel like I missed so much. I am really going to be pushing it to get my clutch in by this weekend but if I do I will get ahold of you. If you guys do any other events or track rentals also let me know. I know you guys don't like 42 much, but a private rental there is cheap enough we could do a "BR track day".

Wow, Kevin starts driving and posts on EVOm all in the same week!! Nice seeing you here buddy. You know how I feel about you and your entire family, there's nothing I wouldn't do for any of you. I have to get your something fast to drive though, the RS is too slow for you. I know that comment about you looking around at the spectators standing against the wall was the sign the car is just too slow for you

fantastic show David, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and cannot wait until it rolls around again, thanks for everyones hard work that made it all possible! We'll be getting there a day earlier at least so we have some time to meet more people and I want to make the 11 hour drive in my car so I can join in on the fun...that killed me sitting on the sidelines 
for those of you that missed it...believe me you don't want to miss it again. I'm going to start editing my HD video tonight that I took of the quick 16 qualifying and eliminations...other vids will folllow that but I flat didn't have enough battery or camera to catch it all. There was so much to see.
btw, hats off to Norwalk drag strip, they were constantly cleaning/improving the track...I wasn't out there racing but it sure looked like they were doing their best to make sure the track was prepared. The event moved along at a nice pace.
