Excellent 60ft especially since he only got one shot at it.

Thread and video are inbound.

Like Paul said this was not a typical weekend at the races. Lots of carnage for alot of people, DSMs, Evos, Subaru, Honda, it spared no one it seems....except the Scions.

The best part about it all is it will cost me a total of $180-$200 to put a "mini" brake kit on my car with buying two new aftermarket front rotors, new pads, and a caliper paint kit to make it look presentable. It may not have the same stopping power as those $1200 brake kits but it will certainly be enough to stop the car post 1320.
I'm not sure about the 2000 Galant.

john,
this ~500 pricing would be only for the front setup? if that is so, what did you do on the rears? leave the brembo rears in place? someone i know recently put the rs gravel brakes in the front and left the brembo rears on, but it biased rear braking too much and was locking up while the front was fine.

Patrick- Factory KYB and Tein S-Tech's believe it or not, and they havent blown with 72k on them.

Nitz- As far as a drag application these worked fine. I would venture that some of it is master cylinder not being 100% matched to the caliper piston surface area. Possibly in his case an adjustable proportioning valve might aid in taking away some of the excess brake bias.

no problem I already have something else on the way but if it doesn't work out for some reason I'll get back with you.
