Mellon, get back to the track and post-up that 9 second pass. We need another addition before the end of the year.

Tom, I'm dead set on making it happen...but my transmission grew tired of me treating it like an ******* so it needs to be repaired. I got the car at a friends shop, just waiting on him to pull it and ship it off to Buschur right now. There's only 3 test n tunes left here at Memphis Motorsports Park. I think the last one for the season is Dec 13th Also still waiting on some new rims for my slicks...things just aren't working out right now.

Are you running full size brakes? I could loan you the 15" slicks if you've got small brakes.

I can't make up my mind Tom...right now I have the stock big brakes, stock wheels and plan on trying one more time to mount the M/T slicks I've been wrestling with. I've almost pulled the trigger on a small brake kit and 15" motegi traklite's/slicks a dozen times. I want to do some road course stuff this year and it would be a little bit of a pain to swap calipers/rotors/wheels each time I change events Also
my wallet is still smoking from the new shorty/head/cams/turbo and now transmission so I think I'm going to work with what I have for now but thanks so much for the offer on borrowing the slicks, that's very nice of you

I bought a new set of wheels/tires for daily driver use and it'll free up another set of stock rims...I'm beginning to have a nice collection in the garage.

stock rims + M/T slicks - strip
stock rims + BFG drag radials - street/strip
18" rims + falken RT 615's - street

Not to throw a sale pitch your way mellon but if you want a set of small brakes I have an AMS rear brake kit here, like new, I have it listed for pretty cheap. Just keep it in mind to save some money if you go that way.

I clearly understand the 'collection'. I counted this weekend. I have 7 sets of tires and wheels. Not all tires have wheels, but all wheels have tires. "(This is NOT a test, do not attempt to adjust your set)". As for the Motegi TrakLites, I was told the other day that there are NO 15x?? sets available in the U.S. Not sure how true that is, but if you believe it, at least you won't be tempted anymore.

Thanks for mentioning it David, I didn't know you had them. I don't know if I need them for the rear though like Shacochis06 said.

hmm I didn't know there was a shortage since I haven't actually made a call about them yet, I've just been putting them in the shopping basket a few times online.

I'm going to give the MT slicks another shot when I get another set of stock rims free...If they work well then I'll get to keep my brakes and all will be right with the world. I understand that the CCW 16's might also work and retain the stock brakes so that's another option I'm keeping in mind.
