I'm going to take the OKIX car out again today. Making a few changes to the maps and turning the boost down a bit. Davids' "SET ON KILL" tune might be more than we need on the streets. Or, maybe not. Anyway, todays a good day to just have some fun.
Jeff, bring the Evo down here. We could call a group together and have a meet and greet. Oh yeah, by the way, you could fix the Bug while you were here. I'll even get you some soup and crackers.

I contend that you don't have too much for the street until it's changing lanes for you through all of the gears 1-3 is acceptable!

How about a 4th gear 123 mph lane change? Looking at the spirited logs now. AFR's look good. I'm even surprised at how well the Knock Raw is looking. I invited a couple of vettes to come to my closed circuit track, but they weren't having any part of it.

awesome....I get two kinds of races here. The slow guys with stock GTO's that don't know any better and the over confident 9 second trailor queens that leave scratching their head when a 10 second 4 banger true daily driver on pump gas wears them out. Priceless.

I cant wait to show them what it can do on race gas with more boost, it's gonna get real ugly.

While on my way to my private track, I passed at LEAST 12 police cars and motorcycle cops. I even had a Highway Patrolman pass me on the Interstate. I was doing about 60-65 and he slowly pulled up behind me and went right on by. This thing is crazy loud, but no problems. Then on my way back home, 1/2 block from my house the locals had a radar trap setup. At lease 6 of them stopping cars everywhere. One of them walked out in front of me while looking right at me, turned around and stopped the car coming from the other direction. I just idled on by, decals, loud exhaust and all. I think by now, most of the local police know the car and don't hassle us. We NEVER tear up the streets here, so that helps.

my car isn't nearly as loud as yours and I still let off the gas when I pass cops just to be respectful and not give them any reason to pay me attention.

Not giving them a reason is definitely the key to preserving the wallet.

At least you can find a race...

All the local forums talk about are racing cars with 100MPH trap speeds.

Mr "9's in 09", you wouldn't be taking advantage of the unsuspecting driver would you? I think that's down right scandalous. You're now in "Timeout" until further notice.
