lol, you guys have fun chasing the 8's I never wanted more than a 10.99 on my daily driver.

 

We just wanted any 10 anyway we could get it. Then a "Beyond ALL Expectations" 9 came into the picture. Now, it's total insanity to know that the car has potential for an 8 second pass in relative street trim. The back seats are going back in it, as well as the passenger seat. Those 2 items aren't going to stop it from making 8's. It's still hard for me to even say that, much less really believe it. After watching the car go 9.20@158 mph and realizing how much time was lost in 1st and 2nd, I'm convinced. David's car is so close that if Kevin had just farted real big, he could have made it.

 

yep same here with mine and the 9's, it never was my goal but now that it's within my grasp I got to thinking how cool it would be to go 9's in my daily driver through the stock ecu/mas.

 

Agreed! Motivation for all of us stock ecu guys for sure.

 

Chris, just remember to make your 'pit stop' before you make your attempt. Who knows, it may keep your front seats clean.

I like how the Evo IX isnt in the model category.

 

I doubt there ever will be,because Evo's only come in 1 drivetrain and body style---unlike DSM's.
