....and I'm sure they were tickled pink when they got what they were asking for. More than likely, their still trying to figure out the "How-in-the-world's and the No-way-in-hell's" too.

+1 to that

I never drive my car that much unless I am driving 2 to 3 hrs to the track. But I will say I do get focked with ALOT if I do drive it, all cars I aint wasting my gas on. If it aint a Viper, Vette, Lambo or anything for that matter with a price tag that I know is 2 times higher than mine ... ol jeffy is driving the speed limit

Speaking of the "Funny Look". About 16 years ago, (I know), Dr. Gil Morgan, the Pro Golfer, met me early one Sunday morning at my closed circuit course. He was driving his new ZR1 Corvette that his wife had just bought him. I was driving my newly 'modified' 1991 3000 GTVR4. First one in the state. I had a local company named Miller-Woods Turbo Specialists tweak it for me. Their g-tech, or whatever it was called back then) said it was making 380 horsepower. We both took off at the same time, both easy in the early part of 1st, then GO. I had him by 2.5 lengths by 3rd and then kept pulling away down the track. When I went to 4th, I was about 5 or 6 lengths ahead and that was pretty much the end of it. When I slowed down and he pulled up beside me, the Egg on his face was priceless. He did tell our mutual friend at the Chevy dealership about it, so at least he was honest about the story.

nice, I didn't know you had a VR4, I still have my 575awhp (93 octane) 91 TT Stealth It doesn't look much different than stock which surprised my friend with a 600rwhp GTO recently

Yep, I ordered one a year before they even came out. Several of the autodealers and I used to meet every week for dinner and drinks. The Regional Mitsu rep came a few times and I got mine ordered through a local dealership. When it came in, I also got several items for the Special Event of being one of the first 100 I think. Crystal model of the car, etc. Then I had the turbos boosted a little more (yes 16 YEARS AGO I was doing the same stuff on Mitsubishis, so I'm not quite a newbie). I loved driving that car at speed in Eastern Oklahoma, through the hills and curves. In those days, I was Superman, the indestructable one.

Alan, our most recent additional to this 9 second Club, asked me the other day if there were shirts or hats that went along with the accomplishment. I thought it was a great idea so I have Jarrod working on a design for them right now.

For those of you on the list please shoot me a PM with the shirt size you want. I will be sending everyone a shirt as soon as we get them done.

Thanks for all the support, all of you.

Chris, put your order in now. They may not be available next year. By then, it may be an 8 second list.
