Ive got some AEM logs showing 1.9 seconds from 60-100mph on my old EVO in my signature.

 

Just did this today. My VIII with stock turbo, basically stock exhaust, mbc and tune @23psi was around 8 seconds. Does this sound reasonable? Car is putting down around 260 on a mustang dyno.

 

^ how'd you measure your 60-100mph? 8 seconds is pretty slow...

 

5-3 Downshift and blasted it from a roll.

Seems about right to me for 260 whp

 

Why does this sound incredibly hard to believe?

 

Reviewing a log in Evoscan of a 3rd gear pull I did this morning on a closed course, my 60-100mph time is approx. 2.03 give or take a few hundredths. VD showed 727whp/538wtq with a total weight of 3180lbs with me in the car.

 

Let's keep this going and see what different setups are doing.

 

There are some variables that need to be clarified to make it even. We brake torquing, what speed we starting pull from? Stuff like that.

 

Whatever way does it the fastest, usually start in 3rd at 40mph and shift if needed as high revving cars can do it all in 1 gear. I subtract the 0-100 time from the 0-60 on tested cars to compare to. I get roughly 4.7-4.8 seconds.

i have dodge neon 5speed but its not your typical neon its got a few upgrades its super quick from 0-60 its average time is 5.3 to 5.7 secs but 60-100 is round 13 secs idk if 60-100 is good or bad not sure and my neon is very high geared I can do 90 n third rpms b round 6800 rev limiter is at 7500 ill give u some examples on some of the cars ive raced and smoked 2001 turbo charged celica 1997 Camaro 1995 fire bird 2008 ford mustang gt those jus some of the one ive raced but the newest vehicle Ive beat Is the new jeeps both 2014 and 15 just for fun I raced a 09 corvette I knew id loose but I couldn't believe it I stayed only bout car n half length behind even the guy n the vette was shocked as I was lol but ne ways jus curious bout my 60-100 mph time

 

60-100 in 13 seconds? I think you typed that wrong, because that is abysmally slow, and probably not correct.
