Goal for 10's.

Hey there everyone. I have been working on my 04 RA NA build and without even touching the bottom end and without running any power adders i ran a 12.7@110. I am currently building a 14:1 compression 4g69 NA engine. On paper it will have alittle over 410HP at the crank. Now that doesn't mean it will be that high. I wanted some insight to see if ya'll think it is possible to run in the 10's. Plus my car only weighs 2400lbs at the moment. Thank you for your time.

410 at the crank would equate to approximately, not exactly, 350whp. Even in your 2400Lb car it is not going to give a high enough trap speed to reach 10's. If I had to make my best guess assuming the driver mod is in check, that setup should be good for mid to high 11's at around 118mph. This of course is just a guesstimate but I'm certain it will take much more then that in a FWD car to hit 10's.

I understand that. I forgot to mention that I am running 10" wide drag radials. I have driven Hondas with less power but same weight and ran 10's but I was also 70lbs lighter myself.

magic 8 ball says no

honestly you would be doing damn damn good to make a 11.0 pass, but i think that would be the extent and best et possible with that much power and weight. now given it is a fwd i would say it would be more in the 11.1x-.2x, and obviously a bit more mph. if you could get it down to 2300lbs or less it would be a little more achievable.

but i hope you prove me wrong congrats so far and good luck in the future
