Here's an example of lift shifting vs NLTS on my car. The example is 4th gear ONLY in the two video's though. In the first video I NLTS into 4th gear and in the second video i LIFT SHIFT into 4th gear mainly because I was getting lockout by trying to NLTS due to a worn clutch.

NLTS 4th gear: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...OCK_372930.htm

LIFT SHIFT 4th gear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8BKvLghF1E

It means that you shift without lifting your foot of the gas, making quicker gear changes into better rpms. But if you don't have the patch in your ecu that drops the revs a little, you're gonna have to shift quickly or you'll hit the rev limiter.
what program has that patch? ecu reflash?

If you shift slow enough that you have to use the patch to not hit the limiter, you probly aren't really gaining anything and should just shift normally.

You have completely missed the point of the NLTS patch. The benefits are as follows:
1. Drops revs to help rev match into the next gear for a smoother shift and less drivetrain shock.
2. Allows you to hold more boost in between gears then normal power shifting.

I've only been to the track once being basically all stock, with times in my sig. But I've never NLS, what I basically do is just lift my foot off the floor about what I guesstimate is around an inch, shift into the next gear, then put my foot on the floor again. It's essentially WOT shifting, but not.

When u LIFT SHIFT : 10.5sec
on NLTS : 10.9

Usually it has to be vice versa No ???

If you aren't shocking the driveline then you aren't gaining everything that can be had from NLTS.

If you guys are worried about breaking your cars then STOP racing.
