Going to the track for the 1st time (any suggestions)

Hey guys, I'm going to the track for the 1st time on Wednesday and I was wondering what you guys would recommend in prepping, advice on best 1/4 mile time, etc.? The track is Infineon raceway in Sonoma, Ca.

rev to 6500 rpms and dump the clutch that will get you the best et

im kidding lol ride the clutch out and hit your shifts theres not much to it lol
