Went to the track today
Whats up everybody! I've been reading this forum for a while now but never had a reason to post anything. I bought my EVO (for $30,000 out the door, roof and cf wing) in the end of July down in TN and drove it back home. Well, my reason for posting is that I went to the drag strip today and represented for the EVO community with some NICE times so I thought I'd share. By the way my car is bone stock!!! I don't have a scanner but I took a few pics of the timeslips, but I think they're too big to upload and I don't know exactly how to resize them and I don't feel like tryin. See you on the streets.
My best 2 runs:
13.185@102.29
1.522 60ft
13.171@100.25
1.346 60ft
P.S. It isn't made for the strip, but it's still fun!

Seriously dude, it is IMPOSSIBLE for a stock Evo to pull a 1.3 60'. Sorry to bust your bubble, but you need to try another track, because that one is messed up severely.

Bone stock, no juice. If you want to see the time slips just tell me where to send them, however, as I said before, I don't have a scanner so I had to take a pic of them.
For some reason this slip and some others didn't list the 1\8 mile time or trap:
reaction: 1.114 (concentrating on the launch!)
60ft: 1.346
330ft: 5.106
1000' ET: 10.875
1\4 ET: 13.171
1\4 MPH: 100.25
this one has the 1\8 mile times:
reaction: .724 (again, concentrating on the launch!)
60ft: 1.522
330ft: 5.216
1\8 ET: 8.289
1\8 MPH: 78.00
1000' ET: 10.913
1\4 ET: 13.185
1\4 MPH: 102.29
I'm going back in a few minutes to bring it into the 12's with some 110 octane and less fuel (yesterday I was running with 3\4 tank)
Also, unfortunately it was not cool out yesterday (75-80) and it's about the same temp. today, so I know on a nice cool day I can definately run better times. Which absolutely amazes me.
As for the tracks timing system(TSI SYSTEM 2000 Plus), I don't think anything was wrong with it, but I guess anything is possible. I was running consistant 1.5 60ft times and everybody else there that I spoke to had what they thought to be accurate #'s.

I just got off the phone with the owner of the track. I called to see if their equipment was running properly and accurately and he assured me that everything was on point.
I'm off to the track... Wish me luck on getting my bone stock EVO in the 12's. Peace.

Heck, screw those guys, YOU'RE OUT 60 footing SEAN GLAZAR's 8 SECOND quarter mile DSM!!
Dude, if you don't understand by now that this time is BS and keep trying to tout it as truth, then I feel really sorry for you. Its ridiculously impossible. John Force couldn't pull that kind of a 60' in your car unless he was fired out of a cannon.
I'm sorry but there is no way in hell you pulled a 1.3 short time. The timing equipment is definitely faulty if it's giving readings like that. If you still believe that time is correct do you by chance ride the short bus to school?
Talked to some friends.. Maybe he's lining up with the back tires? Usually the track official would say something, but it would explain the insane 60's, the overly low ETs, and the lackluster traps. I don't know what he's doing, but something is WRONG.
If all of the times were off by .5 that would make perfect sence of it all, and would match the speed that he has. if you add .5 to the 60ft and 1/4 mile that would give him an awesome 1.8 60ft and a 13.6@100. That sounds more like it with that trap speed!!
