1.59 60ft on cooper all seasons!!

I wen't to the local 1/8th mile strip to see what my mph was at but only got in 2 runs none of which I could get in a clean pass, When I hit the 1.59 I knew it was good from the moment I left

Anyhow all I have done is intake, 255 wally,3in tbe,evo 9 turbo 32#on 110 race fuel, The only ecu work currently done is 6700 rpm 2 step and boost cut limiter removed.

The car absolutly just dead hooked and went but in all my years of racing awd mitsu cars I have never hooked like that on crappy tires so I tried it again and got a high 1.6 almost 1.7 60ft

I am actually trying to figure out how I did that and how to repeat it, Anyone else 60ft like this on junk tires?

I really need to make a full1/4 mile pass I feel like mid11's can be done without even a flash tune.

You're confusing me? You're modified with all of that stuff and runing race gas with no tune? By the way what tire pressure are you running?

No tune just stock timing and fuel with 30psi in the tires.

I just put race gas in as a saftey net, I just havent had time to work on a tune yet but I will get to it soon and run it again soon.

Yes but that is kind besid the point.

I know all about why you should not do it
I guess you would just have to know me to understand,I drive the ever living **** out of my car and I don't care if it breaks since it is not a daily anyhow just a project of mine.

I guess the point of this thread is to figure out how I did it and why anyother time I just spin in 1st and part of second and Ihave not changed my driving either so I am kind of confused but need to know how it happened so I can get some more of that.

Oh and this is on an 03 with an open front diff as well.

did you log the runs? Most likely is the boost made on the 2step before dropping the clutch. Hit just the right boost and you can hook, miss it with too much and you light the tires.
