EVO X 1/4 mile thread
Has anyone tested out the Kelford Stage 2's yet? Is the Red a big enough turbo to actually be worth while to get the Kelford over the Cossie mx1?
Hi, there is a little correction to be made if possible on the first place:
Should read:
Carrito.net - Buschur racing FMIC, GT30r on custom BAF header, Snow water injection. Tuned by Monroig tuning - 10.77 @ 125
Fifa Racing - Buschur racing FMIC, GT30r on custom BAF header, Snow water injection. Tuned by Monroig tuning - 10.77 @ 125
This is from 1 of my old posts:
Had to hit the track up one more time before they close for the year and
Iam glad i did. My X keeps me impressed with the times it runs with just
a tune from Iveytune via Ecutek. Anyway here are my lastest results.
Car is full weight X with SSS package and over 1/2 tank of gas.
Everything is stock except for the tune.
First run went like this:
60' 1.853
330 5.217
1/8 8.023 @ 88.83mph
1000 10.475
1/4 12.528@110.05
Second run:
60' 1.778
330 5.116
1/8 7.821@88.73
1000 10.366
1/4 12.415@110.32

I concur; they come with an extremely powerful and effective coil on plug from the box. Maybe with higher cylinder pressures than those seen on this cars nowadays, the current would have to be increased (an amplifier), but for now I do not see the need.
That's way faster than me with a similar setup. What is your redline set at and what are your shift points? I have a Red, full IC/piping, clutch, etc and running <114mph.
Do you run stock wheels/tires? I don't get the 18psi thing either... what is that in normal terms?
Thanks.
