I have this IDENTICAL setup... will be at the track soon. FP Red, stock FMIC, clutch, etc.

Can you let me know how much boost Danny was running? Is "Danny" a member on this board?

Danny, is a local guy from Puerto Rico and member of carrito.net, other than the details already printed on this thread, I don't now a lot more...

Anything else having to do with my car or past cars, feel free to ask, but I haven't got an FP Turbo on any of my previous or present car(s).

Good luck with your car, looking forward to read about the results.

I'm pretty sure there is an 11.6x run to be had even with me coasting through the traps at 8200-8300 rpms.

Full details at https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/dr...-117-30-a.html but here is a summary:

Best MPH:

60': 1.703
1/8: 7.595 @ 89.05
1/4: 11.768 @ 118.67 (+29.62 mph gain with coasting through the traps!)

Best ET:

60': 1.737
1/8: 7.587 @ 90.64
1/4: 11.729 @ 117.30 (coasting through the traps around 8200)

Hiboost - GT3076R Turbo @ 27 psi tapering to 24 psi, ETS Tubular Manifold, Full bolt ons and supporting mods, full weight, 100/93 octane mix - 11.729 @ 117.30

I think if we get enough people to fill 20 slots with 11 sec or faster cars we should track the top 20 Evo X's... otherwise PR will have half the slots!

Likely you'll bump me back down assuming you rattle off some 1.7x short times. The time to reach is 11.6x to stay on the list for a while. I should have kept making runs until I lined everything up perfect. Towards the end I think I made 4-5 runs within 15 minutes because there was no line at all and they had extended the track time to run til 11pm due to a few breakdowns earlier in the night.

I used the AC to kick on the fans with the heat cranked to control temps and the new Mishimoto radiator was rocking with 175 coolant temps. The FMIC was loving the mid 60's temps and not heat soaking at all thanks to the AC fans keeping a positive flow. At first I thought running hot lap 1/4's would hurt performance but it was perfectly fine running back to back every few minutes.

Well that sounds like a good idea. Try pulling the relay for the AC compressor. When you put the AC on, the fans will turn on, but the compressor clutch won't kick in. Used to work on DSM's.

Well guess to much Tq for stock tires. Just did my two step was in groove right after pro-mods run. Or track was slick but did not sound like it sticky sounding. Your guess is good as mine.

I didn't know there were 1/4 mile tracks in Canada. Thought they would be 2K tracks or something

lol what? What is a 2k track?

No offence but what did you think we did up here? Race dog sleighs? And build igloos?
The big 1/4 mile race events you have in the States do travel to the tracks up here.. were not covered in ice all the time
