"Street Monster" With only 23PSI of boost going 11.2!

Well went to the track and was messing around and i was not going for all out fast but my boost was 22-23psi. And it was a very hot day 80f+. Just going to enjoy my the crowed and the event. and some how my car does not like going slow i guess and pulled off a 11.2 at 123.

I will post the time slip when i get home later.

I know everyone will ask whats on the car lalal

Very easy setup.

-FP red turbo
-Mike1023 spec motor
-BR fmic
-BR pipe
-BR tbe
-aem (changing one map then 4 is a lot easier in my book!)

Stock head, stock suspension, stock brake, full interior, mike1023 spec radio.

I also know people going to say ya so you run low boost and a butt load of timing!

well i running around 7-8degrees of timing. and i added some fuel up top. tried to make it slower but the thing has a mind of its own and wants to go fast no holding this bad boy back!

keep posted for new times.

What fuel? 7-8degrees at peak torque? What about at the top of the map?

Why you runnin' baby boost?

7-8 degrees at peak boost is a decent chunk of timing for pump gas.

Nice times for pure 93 octane and 23 psi peak. I doubt anyone has achieved that.

What is your best time?

running baby boost and timing because its a street monster, trying to prove new things to people. Dont need load of boost to go fast as i shown here!

Not alot of timing, not a lot of boost and i can throw around alot of cars all day.

You do understand that the most effective way to increase cylinder pressure is through boost right? Not timing.

What is your best time btw?

So wait... it's a mike1023 spec motor, and you don't know the compression ratio?

Just an FYI.. I've seen a car run 0 degrees at peak boost and a somewhat similar car run 7 degrees at peak boost at the same boost level and the 0 degree timing car goes faster. There is no such thing as "a lot" or "a little" timing.

But for you to come on the board and say, "look at me!", "i'm special!", "i run no timing and no boost!"... it sounds dumb. Your car is either tuned well or it isn't. That is the only answer. One guy can run 20 degrees at 7k and another guy 3 degrees. It just doesn't matter or make any difference. You're either tuned properly or not.

Are you telling us you are not tuned properly?
