Same issue here, 4th gear on the ACT both times to the track and experienced 4th gear lockout.

To the OP i was in the same boat as you about a year or so ago.

Had an ACT clutch in there since i didn't have the knowledge nor cash for a twin and it did me in as well was running 11.2ish @ 131ish w/ 4th gear lockouts and 3rd gear grinds etc.

Found the clutch disc bushing was smashed and i'm guessing some warping of the disc and maybe flywheel as well.

Anyway i'm on a QM twin now and it performs flawlessly at the strip.

My first outting after the clutch the car ran well into the 10's @ over 135mph.

i have lock out issues to only 3rd to 4th tho i have a act 6 puck with a heavy duty p/p
