2nd time @ track...

First Thread: EEK! First time @ track...

Made it to the track for the 2nd time to try to improve my 60 foot and 1/4 time

This time they actually let me go around the water pit and got 5 runs in...

MODS:
3" downpipe
3" testpipe with 3" QTP cutout
ETS lp2 lower ic pipe
aem intake
mbc @ 22 psi with 4ws Tune (91 octane tune)
2-step set @ 5800 (1st - 4th Run)
exedy twin hd clutch

1st Run

60' ...1.992
330 ...5.667
1/8 ...8.729
MPH ...80.90
1000 ...11.371
1/4 ...13.595
MPH ...101.65

2nd Run

60' ...2.223
330 ...6.095
1/8 ...9.184
MPH ...80.14
1000 ...11.837
1/4 ...14.054
MPH ... 102.07

3rd Run

60'...1.986
330...5.667
1/8...8.698
MPH...81.48
1000...11.325
1/4...13.517
MPH...103.15

4th

60'...1.995
330...5.683
1/8...8.704
MPH...82.35
1000...11.321
1/4...13.505
MPH...103.42

5th (Raised 2 step to 6250 RPM and bogged)

60'...1.927
330...5.595
1/8...8.614
MPH...81.41
1000...11.211
1/4...13.397
MPH...103.35

I still need to work on the driver mod some...but raising the 2-step to 6250 rpm helped my 60 foot and 1/4 time even tho i still bogged

Dropping my 60 foot time 0.25 1/4 mile time dropped 0.618 (2.177 - 14.015@101.44 to 1.927 - 13.397@103.35)

looks like to me, you just need to get off the clutch a lil bit faster. That is what I did to drop my 60'. I went from 2.0 to 1.78, it caused me to spin a little, but that lets you know you're somewhat doing it right.
