Horrible times at track please help!!!

Ok guys just got back from the track figured today was a pretty nice day to go. I was running stock boost and my mods are in my sig. What bothers me is that i went switch my reflash from TT to Dynoflash and my mph went down grant it before i switched i could still only get 107mph so here are the best times of the day.

60ft 1.86
330ft 5.43
1/8 et 8.42
1/8mph 82.33
1000et 11.01
1000mph 93.63
1/4et 13.20
1/4mph 103.09

60ft 1.85
330ft 5.46
1/8et 8.49
1/8mph 81.57
1000et 11.09
1000mph 93.71
1/4et 13.27
1/4mph 103.54

Now with those being posted this is in my 05 with the mods listed in my sig what could possibly be the problem is the 60ft now low enough. Could a boost leak be causing me to lose all that mph that others are getting. Ive seen numerous of posts with guys without cams with pretty much same mods with dynoflash trapping 112 113 im far from that. the car just doesnt seem like it pulls like it shold. also could it be the cam gear settings? any info would be greatly appreciated. now also keep in mind with the same mods with TT Flash i ran 12.7 at 107 with a 1.8 60ft i also forgot to add my best et of the day was 104.82 and best 60ft was a 1.80 but on that run it seemed like i got locked out of second gear

Thanks alot
matt

Something is wrong but we need more info. Do you have a boost gauge or controller? It could be a boost leak or tons of other problems. Do you have any way to log? You should be running higher boost, at least 22psi, to see the 110+mph times but you should still be higher then 104.

Well not having a boost controller is really hurting you. Instead of spiking 21-22 and tapering to 19-20 you are running 19 and tapering to 16-17. Also, did you make sure to route everything back to stock when you took off the MBC?

Have you logged you new dynoflash?? A lot of Dynoflash E-flashes have been knock a lot.

Personally I would go back to the TT flash.

yeah i nkow not having the boost controller hurts but at the time i needed to ditch it. never got to run the car with it. BUt you honestly think that the MBC WIll make up for another approx 10 mph that kinda sounds high

Are you saying you had a MBC when you ran your TT time?

What are you trying to communicate?

The only way to improve your times without increasing boost is with nitrous. Get some boost control and a guage

I would think you could also tweak your timing advance too.. same boost but more power (if more timing is available without receiving knock in return)

NO u ppl are lookin at this wrong. Not to mean bro, but u cant drive. Why even get mods? There should be a rule if u want to mod ur evo, first go to the track and if u can push ur totally stock evo in the low 13's then mod. With ur mods ur suppose to mid to low 12's. MAYBE there could be a boost leak and i see u don't have a boost gauge. Get the boost gauge and set it to 21 psi, maybe thats the reason. Cause i saw wit the TT flash u ran 12.7 which is OK but not the full potential of ur mods which u have listed.

So basically what your saying is the only thing that changed is the tune and your slower??

If thats the case, then the TT tune is probably better.

But to really know, you need to do something. If you have ECUFLash and the cable, maybe you can get both flashes, go to the track or dyno, and test them both.

Or you can get your TT flash on again and just go to the track. If you run the time you ran with the TT flash a while ago, theres nothing different/wrong with your car (boost leaks, bad gas, etc.).

Personally I think you need to go back to the TT flash.

No you're looking at it wrong. His trap speed is that of a stock Evo showing that his car isn't making the power it should. The 1.8 60fts are ok, but not terrible.
