Racing the 7 sec evo next weekend
We have our annual Four, six and rotor meet here in brisbane Australia on next weekend.
Im not racing my tube rwd evo as its still in the process of getting built, it should be running by the end of the year
The APC evo 2 has had some minor changes, the bigges one is a shot of gas, we are starting with a 100 shot. When it ran the 7.94 there was no nitrous on the car so we are excited to see what it will run.
Its getting tuned on wednesday and if all is good its off to the track on the weekend
Will keep you guys posted
Cheers
Rob

What T case are you using in that car? I remember watching the video and seeing you swap out the output shaft every couple passes. We are having some issues with our 92 Auto Eclipse and T cases leaving on the bottle these days.

Well what a week, first of all we dynoed it and it was making over 1100hp without the bottle and when we turned the bottle on it would torch the tyres on the dyno and we couldnt get a reading out of it(100 shot)
At the track we decided to do a couple of passes off the bottle
1st pass was a 8.42@172 with a soft 1.38 60 and just running it through the gears
2nd pass a plug lead decided to **** itself and the pass was aborted
3rd pass we put the boost back into it and it went 8.002 @177 with a 1.25 60 and on the logs nick was on and off the throttle in 3rd as it was turning the tyres really hard.
We were very happy with the first days effort
Day 2 we let the tyre pressures down and turned the bottle on
1st pass 8.800 @ 176 the car left hard and as soon as it was in 2nd it went straight for the centre line so nick backed off and went back on the throttle a few times like that untill the finish.
The 2nd pass was the same 11.1 @155 as the car spins all 4 wheels until 4th and is all over the place, so we are going to do some suspension changes for the next meet and hoping we can get a full pass with the bottle.
