People lie, dynos lie, but track times speak the truth. Get a clean pass before you make claims of power.

Good luck next time.

Yea same here, I think I have around the 340 range and when I miss 2nd gear I would still get a 12.8 pass out of it.

I think a stock Evo traps around 104-105 mph.

There are a few 400whp evo's here in the area that have been doing 11.5's at 120mph and these cars are on e85 boosting 28+ so I was just curious sorry to put a damper on the situation but the numbers don't compute.
I got my car tuned at Vishnu like it says and the numbers are straight from them. The v390 package is supposed to get your car up to 390hp, but doesn't include the 10.5 hotside. The guys at Vishnu told me straight up that my car should be at ~400hp straight up with these parts and this tune. Maybe they lied...I don't know. Vishnu says the standing time for a car like mine minus the hotside is 12.1 @ 114.

I understand you guys are skeptical but I'm just repeating what I was told.

Yeah you've probably seen me as I live in Santa Rosa as well. However I'm about to go back to school so you won't be seeing me for a while. What's your car look like?

And I'm not going to GST...don't feel like getting overcharged and underworked. My next upgrade session is going to be an FP Green and a tune from Works.

I can drive great any day of the week, but when you put me on a track all of the sudden I shift worse than a teenager on the first day of driver's ed.
I'm not sure if the flash raised my 2 step or not but it would make sense if they did. Anyway, I was only launching at about 5k anyways so I'm not sure it would help. I wasn't trying to drop my clutch since my Evo is my DD. Thanks for your sympathy.

So what you're trying to say is that it makes perfect sense that I ran that time missing 2nd gear..correct? Because that's the only way I can interpret your post without assuming you are a little slow.

Yea sorry to say this but the hp on there website is estimated crank horsepower like I mentioned before I think your car is gonna be in the 270- 290whp range. My very first tune about 4 years ago was from Vishnu and it dyno'ed 265 with an off the shelf map and a boost pill running 12.8's at 105 and this is on an Evo 9 usually back then it took only a tbe exahust/intake evo 9 combo to best a tbe/intake/cam gear/cams combo from an evo 8. 12.1 is not possible with your power level and specially on a street tire. For example I dyno'ed at 330whp at GST on 100oct to run a 12.2 @ 111mph. Like i mentioned a true 400whp Evo in the Bay Area will be running around mid 11's and be around the 120mph trap speed range.

Overcharged and underworked? LMAO wow, you are sooooo headed in the wrong direction. Do me a huge favor and call me. Ill take you for a ride in my car at a true 400whp tuned by GST and I assure you that you will NEVER touch that from works with a green. It CANT happen and IF it could works couldnt do it. PM on the way.

pm'd you back. i'd love to hear what you have to say about GST vs. Works. I went along for the ride when my brother got his STI tuned at GST and i can't say i was all that impressed with the service.
