First time at 1/8 mile
Hey guys, this was my first time at the 1/8 mile. I've ran the quarter once before but I didn't really launch at all.
This time I tried slipping the clutch b/w 3-4k. Here is my best run of the day. Don't knock me too bad.....

R/T .387
60' 2.319
330 5.951
1/8 8.869
MPH 84.74

IIRC my 60 ft in my FWD car was 2.3-2.4.. That's what you need to work on. I was running 9.3 at 274whp and 225tq @ 5.5psi. Never ran it at 11psi. Didn't get around to get slicks.
Just work on that 60ft time. Basically launching..

Not too bad
I know this is your DD, but you really gotta try the 2step next time. It'll probably be easier on the clutch if you quick slip it from 5k rather than trying to ride it out from 3-4k.

I was going to use my friends laptop and lower it to 4.5k.
When I was at your power level, I had mine set at 5800rpms with the stock clutch. I cut 1.6 60fts pretty easily with that, but it killed the clutch pretty quick.
