yeah not sure if it was. dont think it was. but dan good buddy of mine n thats his evo.. which he is selling now

David when you port Chris's Turbine Housing would you post up a thread explaining the port work that you will be doing? It would be nice to show the evo community the hard work that you put into the Turbine Housings I hear that you do a **** job but I have never seen one in person. Thanks David.

I have a question for those that have worked with the FP-Black, and since Dave's original thread got closed I figure this is the next best place. Compared to the Red, how is the turbo whine?

I personally like the whine as it reminds me of my old SuperDuty, and was curious to know if it is any louder/quieter/the same as the 80mm Red. I've actually watched the surprised look of diesel drivers as I spool next to them. Thanks for any info!

Turbine housing is ported now and so is the manifold, probably back on Chris's car already, no I won't post up details on how to do it, sorry.

The turbo whine I can't even notice on either most of the time, can't hear it over the exhaust on most cars.

Turbo looks sick but didn't he make 500whp on your dyno with the Red? If I am remembering the numbers right it looks like he only picked up a few hp from going to the Black.

little off topic, but we ran our car last night at Cobb in plano. This is a 4th gear pull with race gas. Its above 600whp from 5-7500rpm, pretty usable power band I'd say. I bet Chris ends up getting his nine if his weather holds out! Good luck at the track if ya'll make it Sunday

Robert can you post up the dyno graph of your car? I realize it's a 2.3L, but can you post the chart to the highest you rev'd it to and not truncate the data?
