FP Black 1/4 mile update.
little off topic, but we ran our car last night at Cobb in plano. This is a 4th gear pull with race gas. Its above 600whp from 5-7500rpm, pretty usable power band I'd say. I bet Chris ends up getting his nine if his weather holds out! Good luck at the track if ya'll make it Sunday

anyhow, how much boost was this?
Yes, but I dont want to get too off topic, I'll start another thread somewhere. That is the Groc in the drivers seat in that vid. I think the title of the vid has the boost in it?
Good luck at the track tomorrow Chris!

According to the link it was 447 whp on the Red and then 511 whp after swapping the Black in and making no other changes. There may have been other cars that made higher whp using a Red on Buschur's or other dynos but this was comparing back to back on the same car.

Update:
Track was very cold till about 2pm. Made 2 passes 10.22 then 10.21 fighting for traction and lifting on each shift. Let the car sit for awhile and let the sun warm up the track. Decided to run it again. Did a burnout to try and warm up tires and it felt pretty good. Came off the 2 step and about 30 feet out twisted my rear driver side axle in half. Of course done for the day after that.
Hopefully I can get it fixed and get out one more time this year. With the weather being nice our local track might run again next Sunday.
Thanks David for coming out today and giving a hand. Hopefully we can get this thing into the 9's this year.
