Do you have a timeslip run down?

135-136 mph or so w/ sixty's right around 1.5. Peak boost on these runs was a little lower compaired to the 10.14 and 10.18 pass. Slips are out in the car I'll see if I can get them out tomorrow. It's been a long day and I'm in for the night now.

The car made 550 & 529 on a 4th gear pull back when David first tuned the car. All the results posted were 3rd gear pulls in the first posts about the FP Black.

IMO track ET's and MPH means more then dyno numbers.

Nice job today Chris, sorry about the axle. If we can get out there again this year, I'm up for it with you.

What axles are they? Stock?

What kind of rubber did you have on the car?

What's the track elevation?

A light wheel brake, wheel, and slick, along with an aluminum driveshaft drive up your MPH pretty well, which doesn't reflect how much power you're making. It's nice to think that power is the only contributor to MPH at the track, but we all know better than that.

Bring some spare axles and lay waste to the 10's! Good luck on your next outing. Hopefully Mother nature grants you nice weather.

Trent, update your signature again! Nice job driving today.

BTW, this car has stock EVO9 wheels on it, stock front rotors, stock driveshaft.

485whp and 458trq is what StreetThisEvo made on the Red at 34psi. I thought for sure he was dynoed again and made 507whp but I can't remember. Black is looking promising but I want to see a little more comparison between the Red and Black before I make the upgrade to the Black. Nice runs man. Hope to see you dip into the 9s.

People upset with the Boost to power ratio need only look at the TORQUE of this unit not to mention throttle response. I remember back in 2003 (If Dave will allow me to Quote from memory) that "There is no Magic Turbo". Well guess what there is now as the times are a changin and it's the Red and Black. I am telling you this is way more exciting then the DSM stuff a decade ago and it seems to be getting better.

Obviously Dave is FAR right of the curve with fully built motors and 40PSI with E85 but most of us have Pump gas Evo's or maybe a lil meth. Truth is I have seen many a Evo Make 450WHP DJ and trap at 120-122 Pump gas on a Red, no doubt the Black could pull this of fand more and man look at that torque. No Open Scroll 30R or 35R will touch the torque or throttle response and sheer driveability of this unit. Get a Red or Get a Black, under 30PSI my guess is the RED as they will make the same power but the Red will have a slightly fatter torque curve, race and built car well then the Black.
