run low 11's?

Is it possible to run low to mid 11's on a stock IX turbo? I have a 06 IX mr with AMS fmic, licp, tbe, Gsc S2 cams with springs and a tune. My best time was 12.2, but I want to be low 11's. Is the next step going to a bigger turbo?

Any suggestions would be great. Dont want to go to meth and E85 isnt really available. That was on pump gas so I could do a C16 tune but don't think that would be enough.

Its actually a pretty easy goal as long as you can drive well. We have put many stock turbo cars in the mid to low 11's with little mods. Feel free to give us a call at the shop if you need help.

It'll be hard to do with an MR mainly due to the 6spd. If you're planning on drag racing the car a bunch, I'd consider a 5spd swap.

Didn't they say that there is a potential except it's depend on the driver? I mean, even if you have 1000hp, if you can't drive that beast, you're either going to kill youself or you're not going to hit the time you want.

Its still very possible with a good driver. I dont see it as being hard at all actually. As long as you want to buy the parts that it takes to do it we are willing to build it.

We got my car down to 11.010 @ 124.55 on the stock XI turbo. You can ABSOLUTELY get to mid 11's easy.

^agreed, this guy has a beast of a stock turbo 124 mph is sick! but ya, I'm running on a MR also and I kept running out of gears. I'm making some minor adjustments, 1) being bigger tires 245/45/17 on stock MR bbs wheels is what everyone is recommending and 2) I'm going to have to raise my redline to about 8400 just to run it out in 4th gear, meaning you might have to do the same. You have advantage of Mivec and better driving skills then me though =[. We'll get there eventually =].

my best is 12.30 @ 114, full weight minus spare 8 MR. With some weight reduction also will help towards your goal.
