3/4's the way home on our 12 hour ride. The event was the biggest by far and I met a good amount of new faces too. Got to hang out with the INFAMOUS crew a bit and watch some girls drink too much and act silly lol. I will be racing next year if it kills me. I don't like spectating

Dave, sorry I didn't get a chance to formerly introduce myself when I came by on Friday to look at Steve's Alt-Map Switching problem. I had people waiting for me in town and had to get back asap. Great event as always!

looks like the pool at the econolodge..

We stayed at the Best western.. launch control and beer pong friday and saturday night was great in the parking lot and got crazy when MAP showed up in their rx7.

was also jks watching norwalk cops go after the dsm/evos blasting up and down the main strip. (hopefully those of you who got pulled over didn't get hit to hard.)

anyone else feel like they were waiting forever in the staging lanes during the time trials? I know a few guys hoped to get in a few more passes before eliminations but they were sending pure t&t.

once again the event was epic! cant wait for next year already.

 

Hopefully that town doesn't ban this event untill I can make it. It's gotta be one of the biggest money makers for hotels/cops.

 

nothing makes towns happier, then giving out of town people tickets/fines.

first off yes that was the econolodge pool!!

this was my first time and it was pretty cool!! wish buschur had more stuff for sale on saturday n their wasnt any shootout shirts like years past!!

i didnt no ams was there?? i didnt see any of their cArs or tents!!

i did the autoX and track was alil small n tight which sucked but i no y dave explained it!! only thing that u shldve done for the autox was have a timing scorer at the end so u no wat ur time was!! cuz i did the track differently to see which way was faster but couldnt tell cuz we couldnt see our times after we finished! so dave that would be nice next year!!

that F350 was sick btw great event was my first time and ill be back for more next year dave you have a awesome show room it was nice to see the shop that houses all that power in person.

The Jetski in the pool is pretty funny stuff...

I also would like a faster auto-x course for next year, if we top out in 2nd for the fastest cars (~60) that would be fine. I think even making the course 50% longer would help and you could send us down a section and do a 180* turn around a cone in the middle possibly although the width of the paved areas were limited. Having the time announced or even a person just past the finish to tell you the time plus any cones would be great.
