Evo Vs STi (VID)
This is a vid of my evo and a friends sti. All I have is a mbc/internet tuned safc/ busher filter and SS clutch line. He has an open HKS DP. I was really suprised that I beat him with his 300hp and all............ 
My best that night was actually a 12.89@106.5 mph with a 1.79 60ft. He thinks after he gets his MBC hes gonna beat me.... but I dont think he has a chance. This is just more proof that the evo can be really fast with just a few mods. Im hitting 12.8-12.9's consistently with only $350 in my car. 
The weather was about mid 60's with high humidty.

1st: STI guy cant drive worth ****
2nd: S-AFC and MBC is a huge upgrade on a TURBO car buddy
3rd: If the STI had what you had, with a different driver, you would lose.
4th: 12.8 is still fast tho so im not even hating.

he "treed him" but the reaction has nothing to do with your quarter mile times.
and you say on a better launch he would have beat him? that night he pulle a 1.67 60 foot, a better launch than most of you will ever pull in your lifetime, and he ran a 12.93 @ 103.2
on his other launches where he pulled low 1.7s... he ran 13.0-13.1

Both cars launched absolutely ***in awesome. and that is tru that just tuning your a/f ratio we can get some sick power out of the car.... Thats it....simple

wow! i wish i could even launch like that... it looked like that launch was done with the clutch being dumped... but i doubt that. my launches are still shotty because i haev to still get used to slipping into gear; plus this is my first awd car.
