Is the track better than last year in your opinion (bumpy still, how about traction for RWD on that asphalt)? I heard they added to the end of the track.

The track is glass smooth. The rwd cars couldn't hook up at all, except for the few that knew how to drive. I beat that gt so bad through the 1/8 mi but after that the car hooked up and I barely beat him at the 1/4 mi mark. The biggest problem seems to be there isn't enough room for everyone that is running.

Am I the only person that understands that an awd auto car that weighs 3000lbs and puts about 115hp to the ground won't be fast? Those stock 5.0l mustangs are slow anyways. Plus different tracks and weather equals very different times. Guess I'll have to go back to sea level again and put real numbers up again Nothing is gonna run good at high altitudes, high humidity, high dew point, hot track temps, and all on a new slick freshly paved track.

Stock 5.0l slow?! Get real, you're 2.5rs is slow but a 5.0 Mustang is not. I own alot of cars and one of them happens to be a 92 5.0l. When I was stock I ran a 14.1 With an exhaust and 3.55's I ran a 13.4. Now I am running 10.20's with the stock bottom end. I ran a friends 92 GT at the track last year with 200,000 miles and TOTALLY stock...air filter and all, I ran a 14.6 with it.
I will agree that the 96-98 4.6l GT's were pretty slow (run mid-high 15's stock.)

Yeah that stock 215hp is really moving that heavy thing around fast.

I ran at Keystone too and smoked the rears off the line. I ran a while ago, but I figured it would have more bite. I guess since it was just repaved recently, it doesn't have enough rubber. But in any case, with a good launch, my mom's monivan could've beat that Mustang. It's almost sad that you advertise beating a Mustang in an Impreza when the Mustang only lost cause he has too much torque to unload in the rain. Oh well... to each his own.

BTW, my brother's got the WRX, since it's got the smaller engine, does that mean you'd beat him with a 17.xx 1/4mi too?

R/T has nothing to do w/ the final ETA. R/T just gives you a holeshot off the line or in handicap format of bracket racing.
