Old school FP3065 2.3L stroker evo 8 goes 10.51 @134mph

Went to our local track this past weekend to get some passes on my turd lol.

It was extremely hot at 97-100 degrees with track temps in the 130 degree range, and a corrected DA at 6500+feet. So traction was garbage due to the washed out hot track.
I ran consistent 10.50's all day Except the 2 1st passes since I was still scrubbing in the new Mickey Thompson ET street drag radials.
Rims and tires are rota Gforce 18x9's with 245/40/18 MT et street drag radials.

Car is close to full weight, full interior 2003 evo GSR with a sunroof, indash tv/dvd player, 2 amps in the trunk, 6 point roll bar, daily driven. Car weighs in at 3250 with me in it, I am 180lbs

Mods are
2.3L stroker with JE pistons/eagle rods/OEM mitsu 2.4l crank
Stock head with just HKS 280 cams
JMfabrications v-band exhaust manifold
FP 3065 with a tial SS .82 A/R exhaust housing
JMfabrications 3" v-band o2 housing
JMfabrications 4" FMIC
JMfabrications upper and lower I/C pipes
JMfabrications drag version intake manifold
AEM EMS tuned by me
FIC blue max 1450cc injectors
double pumper with 2 walbros
stock fuel rail/lines/FPR
no name brand 3" turbo back
halman MBC at @30lbs
tial 44mm wastegate
tial BOV
QM twin disc clutch
stock t-case/rear end
Transmission built by me
Stock ignition with AEM coil dwell settings tweaked (yes, they work very well when properly dialed in)
E85 fuel straight from the pump

Passes went down like this

1st pass 10.685 @134.68mph
2nd pass 10.685 @133.80mph
3rd pass 10.51 @134.12mph
4th pass 10.55 @133.12mph
5th pass 10.54 @134.21mph
6th pass 10.53 @133.56mph

Run down of the 10.51 pass goes

60ft. 1.633
330ft. 4.511
1/8th 6.843
mph 105.32
1000. 8.840
1/4 10.513
MPH 134.12

All day I was having major problems getting the car to hook up, track prep was garbage and they only sprayed the track one time the entire day. So no stick whatsoever I even dropped the tire pressures on the Mickey Thompson Drag radials to 14psi! and dropped the 2step to 5800rpm and still no traction. Going to work on getting some weight out of this heavy turd and work on the suspension too as all it has is tein springs with stock struts.
The turbo is completely maxed out at 30lbs on this setup, anything past that and it just creates too much back pressure and the waste gate won't even open at anything past 30-31lbs of boost.
Next step is to get the larger 1.06 A/R exhaust housing from tial and a better set of cams and head back out again and see what I can pull off.
Over all I'm happy with the numbers considering the conditions we had. In cooler weather I would expect it to run 10.20-10.30's at 136-137mph traps.

I've tune some 30R to 500awhp on e85 with a stock 2.0 but never at full tilt, what kind of power are you putting down? The dyno graphs looked remarkably similar to a FP Red actually.

Sounds like that car has already had a lot of weight removal done. With the roll bar, amps, and full interior and with you only weighing 3250. That means the car is only at 3070 w/o you in it. That is very light weight with all that stuff in it. Anxious to see how much more weight you're going to shave off.

Bump for a sick *** car and great friend/tuner.

Well with things like
Exhaust 35lbs weight savings over stock
small battery kit about 20lbs saving over the stock battery
air box removed for 4" intake pipe 5lbs?
no maf 3-4lbs?
intake manifold is a little lighter then stock, maybe by 3lbs
no intake brace to block, 3-4lbs
spare tire/jack/tools removed 40lbs
front bumper support removed 13lbs

All the interior is still in the car with the 6point. I refuse to pull any interior out of the car.

I haven't weighed it with the 6 point bar and other safety equipment in place, the weight I posted was without the bar and safety equipment since that's all I had to go off of. But the tubing is 1"3/4 DOM tubing, maybe 65-75lbs for the roll bar.

So the car could be over 3300lbs with me in it currently. I need to weigh it now after I have put the roll bar/5point harness/scatter shield/drive shaft loop in it. I know it put atleast a 100lbs back in the car after all the safety equipment.

The amps on the other hand are about 6lbs each, so maybe 12lbs in amps, there not too big lol.

As far as what the car did power wise, uncorrected SAE numbers came in at 622whp and 543wtq.

Here is a pic of the inside of the car with the roll bar in place, no pic of the harness as this was taken right after I re installed everything back into the car after the bar was put in.

And the dyno graph, I really don't care for dyno numbers, but it is what it is

that's very close to what my HTA86 did on 93 octane and I went 10.41 @ 135 powershifting like a crazy man. My car is also near full weight so I know what it takes to get down there and witha 3065 is just crazy.
