Gump's World's Fastest Evo X (1/4 mile) - FBI Built / Jestr Tuned
Gump's Evo X finally made it to the track last night. It managed to run 139 mph trap speeds, but the drag radials were spinning like crazy, so there were no decent ET's.
Blown IC pipe pretty much ended last night's quest for the elusive 9-second 1/4 mile ET. They'll be trying again on Saturday night.

Break down on the night...
1st pass: The car spun reall bad, aborted run.
<2-step was turned down>
2nd Pass:
The car spun to a 1.772 60' then it started breaking up in 3rd and 4th gear. It actually ran out of gear in 4th before the traps (tires were too short) and it managed a 10.874 @ 139.27mph. (new record MPH)
<made some tire pressure changes and adjustments>
3rd Pass:
The car spun to a 1.815 60' and ran clean until the shift into 4th gear when it blew off the intercooler pipe. It coasted to an impressive 10.556 @ 128.51mph.
Last Pass: the intercool pipe did not hold and blew off in 2nd gear. aborted run.
<track closed>
The car is going back this saturday with taller tires which will give it more top end in 4th to make it through the traps. Hopefully the tire change to slicks will allow it to cut a 1.5X 60' which will get it into the high 9's!!!

Thanks everyone. This project has been a long time in the making and there have been a hell of a lot of good people involved. Really wanted to get this bad boy up to the DSM shootout but got hit with a late notice deployment to Afgahnistan so car will be sitting in the garage instead 
Regardless with a little luck and some tires hopefully this little lady will see 9's on sunday.
