I have a stock evo with just the boost restrictor taken out. I will hit 22 lbs and bleed down to 16 to 17. I'm pretty sure since there is a big sixteen in this car you can take it up high in the rpm's and not lose much boost. what are the rpm's that some of you all shift at to get the best run.

i know what the restrictor pill did by taking it out. stock, it hits 19 lbs and bleeds to thirteen. I basically just want to know what rpm most people shift at when going down the track.

when i get on it on the street, i'll take it all the way to 7 grand. Is that too much, or not enough?

 

my best results at the strip where shifting at 7200 to 7300

 

i raced it on sunday and ran a best of 13.299 @ 103 with a 1.87 '60 shifting at 6000 to 6500

when i would let it go above 7300 i could only get a 13.5 out of it.

that clutch is tricky, out of about 15 times of racing it, i bogged the launch about 9 times
