Kevin has no interest in drag racing the car now and just drives it occasionally. Maybe I'll throw a Red on the Bish! haha

Get that Red on it and motivate Kevin to drag race it a little

Then all the dyno sheets that dick head posted made so much power, but the car never backed it up with a MPH. We were trapping 130 with a red on 93!! Damn it feels good to call that pos scum bag ***** names and not get points.

I bet your car with the RED/Built motor and good tuner will trap 140-142mph just like Xcelr8s will.. Especially since you can drive your car well.

In all fairness, I'm sure there's also a bit of a weight difference between cars as well. Just to put this opinion in prospective, the Red world record holders were piloting 2,600LB drag cars @145mph. Don't get me wrong, Scott Davis is on my S**t list as well after trying to pull his stunt of claiming he built my car when all he did was tune it. I did take my car to a local dyno that has been known to read like a dynojet. It made a peak of 540whp @34psi in approx: 85 Deg weather. There were a few changes I could have made to the setup as well that I am confident would have aided in 1 or 2mph, but either way, that turbo couldn't have gotten me in the 9's with my weight on a stock motor so I moved on.

Btw thanks for the compliments on my driving. This is my first manual transmission car.

That statement is correct. 2650#'s without a driver was what TP's car weighed when it set the Red record in '08. VP Import, alky injection and set on kill. Trent at the time I'd guess was 150 pounds.

David, your very close to the weight. When you, Trent and I started the final 'lightening' of the car, it weighed 2740 and we were able to get the final 40-44 pounds out of the car, taking it to 2696 and Trent weighed 140+ at the time. We also had the Roll Bar not the current full cage, no Chute, no Window net, no back seats in the car. When we were testing the Black, we had added probably 150-175 lbs to make it NHRA legal. I've seen others comments of our car even weighing in the 2500 lb class. It was just time to be accurate with what it weighed. Your 2650 is closer to being the fact. I remember yours, mine and our efforts at the time and I didn't want current comments to take away from what the efforts actually did. It's easy for real facts to get lost in time. Kind of like Curt Browns accomplishments on stock turbos. Still some of the best times recorded.
