9's, 9's, and more 9's LOL!
Seriously
oh well will have to just pick up another brand until mine come back from GForce.
I'm very tempted to go to something bigger 6765 w/ a new FFTEC manifold but i figure at that time i'd probably want to upgrade the head a little bit.
But before all that i really need to pull the bearings to take a look at them as the motor has been in there since Nov of 2007
The recent comp test showed 170-175 across and very little leakdown but before i get really crazy with it power wise i'd like the peace of mind
So that may all wait until winter as i don't care for down-time right now.
I have a couple new things coming to hopefully chop 2-3 tenths off w/o any major work and i will be content for this year.
My damn luck that this year most of our $money$ races have not come to fruition
How about you?

Just sucks we really don't have any races around here much anymore. I don't even think BOTI is running this year, they have 3 events on schedule for this season but I still have yet to find any results from the 1st event this year in Florida. So who knows.
I think next season I'm going to drop back down to a 2.0L and go with the 6765 turbo as well. We shall see how things work out but I also would like to put the talon back together one of these days. Poor thing is just sitting on jack stands collecting dust in my garage. I got some ideas for it, but nothing set in stone yet.
holy crap. rub it in some more geeeeeez. dude your style of driving is sweet. i watched and watch and watch over and over and over. u look so relaxed as if its a walk in the park. you have one hell of a setup and know how to drive it too. great job man. keep up the good work. very nice.

I still have more to work on especially when racing "heads-up" but it's def fun to go out and practice

Don't worry Dan it will all come together for ya soon i can feel it
Only reason i was practicing the w/ the e-brake is that i was always taught to take out the slack in the drivetrain so even w/o the e-brake i would let the clutch out just to the "friction point" and i would often creep forward slightly trying to release the clutch smoothly.

It does make for a bit more to do at the line but it actually feels good once you get it down and boy will it help me out when racing someone heads up

Thought i'd post this up also......don't know how i forgot about this one (maybe cuz we didn't get a chance to record the pass
)This was actually the "best" 60ft of the day!
Car weighs 3030 w/ me in it w/ the cage and all the door bars in etc.
I'm 175lbs.
Sorry don't have an exact figure from the dyno as the tune changed slightly at the track but off the rollers a bit rich it was making in the 630hp/460tq range on our MD.

Yes stock ecu tuned by Sean Burgess of FFTEC MOTORSPORTS.

Thanks for the compliment Dan i'm far from a great driver but appreciate the post........ i wish i had a job that paid me to fly around and drive cars
