Boostin Performance's "Red Demon" Shop Drag Car
We recently opened in March, and we're excited to get our shop drag car out. Devin recently has been putting in some late nights to get his car put back together. It’s a 96 Eagle Talon TSI. Devin has owned the car for over 3 years and has taken it from a regular street car into what it is now....... a drag car. Now that it’s officially a shop car, we thought we would give it a name “Red Demon”.
Some changes made to the car from the 2010 season:
ShepTrans Dogbox instead of a OEM gear-set trans
10.5/1 compression vs. the 9.0/1 he was running last year
Boostin Performance Ported Cly. Head
SparkTech CDI sequential ignition
With these changes we are hoping to make consistent 8 second passes instead of the 9.1-9.0’s that we were consistently running last year. We will be on the dyno on Friday, then the track this weekend. We will let you guys know how it goes. Lastly I would like to thank our sponsors: ShepTrans for a top notch gear-set and great customer communication. Forced Performance for one bad *** T3 turbo, and SparkTech for making a great ignition setup!
