For any of you vendors who may be coming. I am looking for items/swag, to include in a draw sting sports bag we are planning on doing this year. We thought of doing just a plastic goody bag but those get thrown away at the end of the day. Now the thought is to do a nicer draw string sports bag and fill it with coupons/fliers/swag and then offer them as souvenir bags for maybe $5. Something the participants will keep around and get their money back out of in offers inside. Anyone interested in adding something to the bag please contact me.

 

MAJOR Changes to the event details. Please take a look. There is now NO charge for camping but you must buy a multi-day pass to the event to be permitted to stay at the track. Showers available for extended hours. Concession stands also have extended hours. Wrist bands will be mandatory for every racer and spectator every hour of every day for the entire event. The road is being shut down for the event at our shop, food vendors, BBQ and bonfire in the evening.

 

Man I can't wait for this.

 

This years shootout is seeming to be the best ever!!

 

This year will be the best ever, for sure. I've never been this busy on the Shootout 4 months before the race. The track actually called me in for a meeting about it today.

 

I don't think I want to come this year......There doesn't seem to be enough to do.

It's going to be a full weekend. Jarrod was complaining this morning about the 16 hour work days! hahahaha

We will be diving out there with a solid 20 people this year and a handfull of cars. Hotel is booked and vacation days taken. Can't wait.
Has anyone ever camped out at the campgrounds behind motel 6? lol

 

Glad to hear. Not sure why anyone would want to camp anywhere but the track with them allowing it this year and not charging for it.

I'm just glad to hear so many people are coming, I don't care where anyone sleeps! haha

I think Im camping this year...couldnt find any rooms that are close!

 

I think we are camping at the track as well Friday and Saturday night.
