Anyone have MIR Import Vs Domestic Results?

I can't find any updates other then Sparktech's Ignited Big Daddy Supra running 7.6@184, but looking to see who won it all, did the imports win, times etc?

What a great weekend!

I saw the silver Evo in the 10.50 class run a 10.60 with stock turbo, and stock cams. That's killer!

We were running an '01 Camaro in the all motor class, qualified 12th with a 10.65 and then lost first round to a Honda coupe that ran 10.1 @ 133. There are some amazing cars in that class.

Puerto Rican RX8 set a world record for outlaw/extreme class with a 6.51 @ 217 mph.

They didn't finish any of the classes I heard, because it got too cold. I know we left Saturday night to go back to our hotel around 9 pm, because it was down to 45 degrees, and all of the fast cars were crashing. I am sure the same thing happened Sunday.

Good times though, and amazing cars. The outlaw vs extreme class was basically a field of 32 mid - high 6 second cars all trapping over 200 mph. Totally crazy!

Thanks. From what I heard, it seemed the Imports were dominating. Was that true?

It depends on who you ask. As for fastest ET in competition day:

Fastest all motor was a 04 Cobra with a 10.059 @ 133.79 in the 1st round
True Street was a 92 Prelude with a 9.339 @ 161.04 2nd round
Super Street was a 94 Supra with an 8.649 @ 170.88 1st round
Street Fighter was an 87 Buick with an 8.347 @ 162.18 in the 2nd round
X275 vs. Hot Rod was a 93 Mustang with a 7.569 @ 186.51 in the 1st round
Radial vs. Modified was a 97 Cobra with a 6.795 @ 215.62 in the 2nd round
Outlaw vs. Extreme was a 6.51 9 @ 217.39 in the 3rd round

Paul Major went 225.00 mph setting the fastest mph of the weekend in his '01 Corvette with dual rear mount turbos.

It was definitely not all dominated by imports, but there were a bunch of very fast ones!

The silver Evo went 10.51 @ 127mph the next pass. Weighed the car after that run, with 2 gallons of gas and the driver in it, it weighed 3060lbs

It was a riot. I just wish that we did better in All Motor. They made it really hard for the Fbody class. The civics could be 2150# with driver, and the Mustangs could have trickflow CNC heads, but our Camaro had to have stock, unported 243 heads and still weigh 3050#. We had to bolt around 150# to the rear. It may have helped though, he cut the best 60' the car has ever done, and it was on radials and not slicks

They called it after the semi-finals Sunday because it was getting too late and too cold. Going to make it a 3-day event next year with no bracket classes.

RAW 2jz S2K went 7.8s@ high 180s went 150 1/8th 1.22 60fts! ( this car is an absolute animal )
Mo from SRT trapped 191mph with the is300 7.9s
BigDaddy went 7.60.
Darin went 8.30s? with Jessicas supra
Lazcano 350z (vg30) went 6.60s
Evans Tuning Integra went 8.9X@167 in true street (crashed into wall though on same pass)

9 out of top 16 qualifiers in the NA class were civics. Those things are super impressive. 10.1-5s with all motor 2.Xlt K swaps.

Hate to say it but it seems as if some sort of rustang won or would have won eery class.. lol
The called the event after the 3rd round because of cold weather and moisture on the track

Fun event! I went sunday for the eliminations. There were a lot of fast cars! Seeing the hood fly off of that car really put into perspective how fast these guys were actually going. It easily was 50+ feet in the air and drifted about 100 yards off the track!

Yeah! That nitrous backfire pretty much happened at the first MPH timing light, right in front of me at the end of the track. I was quite thankful that it didn't come towards us!
