The first pass was a 1.57 and that felt good and the second was 1.60 which really bogged. So I know it will feel much better when I raise it up a little more. maybe 7600-7800

What about trying to launch at 6500 and let the clutch out slower? Cars that run bottom 9s going 150+ probably don't even launch that high.

We tried that the first two passes, but it didn't matter how slow you made the clutch go it would still bogg. Cars that run 150+ also have more power so thats the reason why they don't need lunch at that rpm. They also have less weight which makes it easier to lunch at a lower RPM. My boys S2000 ran 9.53 lunching at 8400 with his slicks on. There are a lot of factors when it comes to launching and that what we are working on. How much boost out of the line at what rpm higher or lower, what tires you have one but we will get there. Plus the slower I let the clutch go the more I'm burning it and that something I'm trying to prevent, but at the same time you have to burn the clutch no matter what so I know thats something i need to do either way.

I rand some cheap tires but I ran 11.1 @ 130. with like 1.84 60 foots. I think they were Sumitomo. I don't buy good tires for the street seems like whatever I buy, I still only get like 10k.

Oh no I kept my stock rims for the Hoosiers and I have rota grid with some Archilles. I'm just like you. I have a 04 with 34k and carbon to carbon Tilton so I let it rest. LOL.
