Buschur Racing comes through with the help of M&H Racemaster!
A big thanks needs to go to DB for going out of his way to get this done for us. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have this. Thanks for going way out of your way to bring this to the evo and other AWD cars.
I don't know of a race tire that doesn't benefit from getting some heat in them, this is in regards to the "do these tires need a burn out". The fact is you aren't going to do a real burn out in an EVO, it's impossible.
David, we have come a long way since the Green Dot retreads
.
Typical DR’s are deliberately made to be hard at “normal temps”, but become “soft” after a burn out. This is done to improve tire’s life on the street. That is actually pretty clever and works great for 2WD cars, which can do a burnout. But that is also the main reason why normal DR’s do not work on AWD cars!
If they have addressed this and created a truly AWD DR tire, this would be great news!

Jarrod was suppose to get pics today, I think he was busy with the tax return sale. I will try to get a weight tomorrow. Jarrod should get pics soon too. I was busy all day and not on the net at all.
I updated the first post with some weights of the tires. We have slicks in our possession and will post pictures some time today.
The radial is 25.8 pounds each.
The slicks are 20.7 pounds each.
