I am sure these will work just as well as other slicks. 60' times will depend, at least in my opinion, much more on driver and track conditions.

You will get a wide variety of 60' times from these slicks.

What I am getting at is I am sure these are very capable slicks, Buschur wouldn't back them otherwise. It's just going to take a good driver/track to show their capability.

The Hoosier QTP's are good DOT tires. I ran them quite a few times on the RS. The best 60' time we ever saw was a 1.43. The motorcycle slicks we saw a few 1.40's on those and other guys have gone 1.3x's on them.

This tire, I know it's hard to tell from looking at it, but my guess is will put my car into the 1.3x's as the footprint and compound are both better than the motorcycle slicks were.

That will make a good difference! I was thinking DOT, or the raidials in other words. Hope the idea of a radial with a softer sidewall can make it happen for a DOT tire with less parts breakage!!

I saw the slicks in person today and they are badass! M & H makes a killer slick guys. 1.3's on a 17 tire should be easy with the proper setup car. I ran a 1.37 on the small motorcycle slicks last year.

What rim is everyone using for there slick or dr set up? Stock enike's or bbs or and aftermarket rim? I know the 17" tracklite would be the best, but what if you don't have the money for them what else is there that is lite in a 17" rim?

I just a bought a set of these 13lb Centerline 17x7 RPM wheels.

I would think these would make a great wheel for the M&H slicks.
