I really wanted to try and use the parking brake but we only had two qualifying passes and I didn’t want to not release it fully. I have a wilwood hand brake I’m going to plumb in sometime and a homemade clutch release valve.

Almost that time again. I have made a few changes and dropped a bunch of weight from the car. Elite 2500 with haltech wideband, diamond subframes with manual front, BSFab manifold, two 450’s and went to a larger T4 housing.

Unsure at the moment... that pass was at 44psi... it accidentally spiked boost... we started having ignition problems so we Gunna run cold plugs and GTR coil on plug from Apexpowered
Doesn't look like there have been any updates to this in quite some time however, this past weekend I went 10.98 in my stock block evo 9 with a fp black set up.
Evo X GSR, over 200k miles on the stock bottom end 4B11T, pte6266, pump gas only. Car is around 3450lbs with me in it give or take.
I have a few more tweaks to do to it in terms of aero, suspension (stock minus lowering springs currently) and weight loss. I’m about as far as I can get power wise on pump gas. Need a lot more seat time to get that 60’ lower. 10’s is the goal for this big girl. I did a no prep event after this outing, and I felt a lot better about the launches. Unfortunately being a flashlight start 1/8 mile event on the back half of the track there was no timing equipment. I’ll see what I can do this year!

Hoping for a 9.6 or 9.5 this season somehow
Just went pretty deep into the 10’s on a high mile, SBE 4B11T in my Evo X GSR. Have 4 other passes from this day all at 10.7, best MPH being 132.01, and a few 1.5 60’ times, best one being 1.554
I daily drive this car on the street and I’ve been on this engine for 4 seasons now.
I think it might be the quickest stock block 4B11T I’ve seen documented
^^ I put a 4 bar, more ethanol and retuned it on a little more boost and went 10.4's @ 132-133 running out of gear. Consistent 6.8's in the 1/8 and picked up a few mph, trapping about 110.
Made some more tweaks and hoping for a low 10 before it tosses a rod lol still daily driven!!
