Do you let go of the accelerator when you accelerate inbetween gears?

When i drag race in the track i launch with the Two step slowly feathering it then everytime i shift i let go of the accelerator and shift up. Since i have an upgraded bigger turbo it takes about a second for the turbo to boost in every gear. Is that the proper way to shift?

Without nlts that is your best way to shift.

I just started using the nlts tephra mod and will be trying it at the track this weekend. Initial driving has me wishing I had done this sooner. Track results will be my best proof.

The only time you will know is if you go wot and rest your foot on the clutch just prior to a shift.Under normal driving (non wot) you will not know.
