8.7 at 35 psi
8.7 at 35 psi
The car keeps getting more consistent and running crazy times at low boost. Last night it ran two 8.8’s and a 8.7 at 35 psi.
The power curve and gear ratios are almost dead on. The car just needs a better driver. First pass it went 8.7 with a 1.5 60 foot do to me rolling out. It also laid over from hitting a boost cut in 4th gear(more on that later). 2nd pass I rolled out even more and it had a 1.63 60foot and ran 8.8 at 167mph. it also hit a boost cut 4 times in that run. I forget to raise it higher than 35psi. The car saw a boost spike several times and hit the cut. What I mean by that is I control the bov like a waste gate with a solenoid to control boost levels.
I set up the boost cut to 38 psi for the 3rd and last pass of the night. I left good but the car went for the wall and something was off. I lifted in 2nd but got back in it since the track was closing up.it ran a 1.43 60foot 8.8 at 153.
Something was not right. The car didn’t want to role. Took 5 guys to get it on the trailer. It didn’t feel right and oil coming from the trans is not a good sign.
Hopefully the trans has minimal damage. I am getting excited to get the car up to the 50 psi or so it should be running. It might not happen this year do to time etc but we will see.
It now is running high 8’s with bad passes lol. I think if I learn to drive or get a good driver in the car consistent low 8’s are not out of the question.

That's awesome man! I'm in for a build thread as well, I would like to see which supporting mods you chose to run with your car. Again, very cool and good luck in the future.
