6466 Evo at ennis

Recently went out in the Evo to Ennis raceway for a few passes, first pass out I didn't launch it and ran a horrible time but picked up some mph. next pass out I launched it and managed a 11.8@126 mph, still not enough for me. Final pass of the night I got a good solid launch and spun a little but managed a 1.780 60', 7.50@101.35 in the 1/8th mile and 11.51@125.66 in the 1/4 mile. The cars current mods are as follows.
Evolution Dynamics 2.3L shortblock
stock mitsu head with kelford 272 and fp beehives
Boostlogic tubular manifold
Boostlogic o2 housing
Evolution dynamics licp
Ets short route uicp
Buschur racing small battery
Spoolin up cop
3" exhaust from the turbo back
Shep stage 2 transmission
stock transfer case
ID2200cc injectors
6466 bb turbo
Nitto 555r drag radials(34psi in them at the day of track)
Last but not least a Evolution Dynamics tune set at 25psi on pump 93 octane. I have a built head I'm waiting to get on the car get bigger cams in her and put it back on e85 again with more boost. since then I've also deleted a few items from the car to get weight out of the car. overall i had a good time, the car is only on 500whp setting and has gone faster than ever before and i got my 60' way down. please take negative comments to another thread

Beaides better traction, lower tire psi is actually safer on your drivetrain. it absorbs the shock a little and inhibits bouncing.

Are you planing on going again?

What would be a recommended tire pressure for street tires?

I'd start 26 in front and 24 in rear. And work your way down. But I wouldn't go lower than 20f and 18r. I've cut a 1.6 with crappy all seasons on a stock block/ turbo set up with 20f and 18r.

Not sure if you bogged or burned out but it seems like your sixty can improve a lot. I ran 1.66 burning out all first. Maybe your two step is to high and try a little lower like 20 tire pressure.

Dude this car should go minimum 10s. I have same tires run 22 in front n 20 in rear. Get some more seat time and bang those gears you will go 10s even with a 1.7 60ft. Goodluck
