The JMF 3" intake... does it neck down to stock size at the compressor inlet???

No it does not neck down to the stock size. It is a very nice piece

How does it work then with a stock turbo? The stock inlet is not 3" ?

 

The coupler may have a reducer

 

For the JMF intake you need a reduced coupler for the stock turbo. 2.5 X 3

 

UPDATE!

Last night I brought the car back out to the track for fun to see what more I can do. It was a good night at the drag strip. Thursday night, I was at Boostin Performance getting some new FIC 1150 injectors and a tune from Devin on E85. The car made 360whp on his Mustang dyno. All I wanted to make was at least 350whp so after we made that we stopped.

Went out to the track last night after work. Weather was great all night and the track was decent as well. I ended up going 11.59@117mph. Same full weight, full interior, ETC. Car ran amazing. I am still on my RPF1s and Hancook RS-3 tires. I cut a 1.72 60ft on that pass which was my best for the night. The Hancook tires I'm not really happy with. They are pretty hard and the car still spins a lot. We lowered the 2-step which helped but the car still spun.

Overall I am very happy with the car. The car just rips and is def a sleeper. I have plans to get a Upper pipe and get some Cams and go back out soon. But for the minimal bolt ons this car has and running mid 11s, I am very happy. I have pics and videos that will be uploaded ASAP

 

so with E85 and injectors you hit mid 11's ?Do post up the time slips and video if possible i am happy for you very decent time.I am also aiming for mid 11 with similar mods but installing gsc s2 and FIC 950cc injectors pretty soon.My last past was 12.4 @110mph.I made 355whp but on dynojet.

 

Injectors and a fuel pump obviously. I also threw on an AGP intercooler. Only did those two things and everything else stayed the same. I will upload the video and post the time slip most likely later today. That's what I would like to get soon is the GSC S2 cams. S2s and Upper pipe is my next parts I would like to buy.

 

Here's the time slip from last Friday night. The video is being uploaded today. The clocks are off due to the event Friday night being no ET/RSD night. It's an event where its street racing like races on the track, but they have test and tune. I mostly ran T&T all night because we could not find 1 race with the car. Everyone was scared lol.

However, I did race my Buddy in his EVO X. His car runs mid 12s and I gave him 7 cars and came around him. It was a fun night and very happy how the car ran considering the minimal mods. I will be back out soon with the car

Last pass of the night, I gave my good buddy 7 car lenths for fun is his EVO X. His EVO X runs mid 12s. We just raced for the hell of it. I did come around him though pretty good lol

 

Crazy times for < $1500 worth of mods! That's some driving right there.

 

Thanks man She's a sleeper for sure! I'm very happy with how the car ran with just these few mods. I have a few more mods in mind then I will make it back out
