Sent you a pm Pat. We believe a rear caliper seized up Causing the car to violently pull off the track. There was smoke pillowing out the rear of the car as soon as I touched the brakes. This happend on my second pass, prior pass the car trapped 187mph in the 1/2mi. There is a fair amount of cosmetic damage that needs to be repaired, but I am trying to get it ready by the buschur shootout.

Thanks I am glad the car only suffered cosmetic damage mostly. Also thankful that it rained the day before pretty bad so the car slid instead of flipping 1000ft.

Until something extremely dangerous happens you do not think about the risks you are about to endure. This definitely played a huge role in opening my eyes to much needed safety. I will possibly do a cage next year regardless if it adds a few pounds. I will just make up the weight with power.. Going maybe a tenth faster is not worth my life.

 

chromo for the cage. might cost a little more but it def helps keep the weight down. 2PSI should cover that HAHAHA. or just look for other places to pull the weight out. i know your car is well into the 9s but if your local tracks let you run then just do a 6 point.

 

You should do a build thread about bringing her back to life.
