for anyone not following the shootout facebook page/HBF, the classes are close to officially changing. For this year, if you built a car to the old rules, you can race when you get there, but it likely won't be in the same class you planned.

EE and ESA have been combined with DSMs, etc. If this affects you, you should start following the changes on FB or HBF so you aren't surprised in OH.

The classes have under gone a pretty major update and revision. I have changed them all in the first post of the thread.

NOBODY's mods effect them, must what the class structure is. There are many reasons for this change. Some of which are: The ability to get sponsors for the classes so you guys get paid as racers is easier. The DSM's/EVO's are very compatible in times for each of the classes. We needed a good stepping stone between the street car classes and Quick 32. I wanted to let the few DSM's that fit into a "stock appearing" type class get back into racing their cars.

The reality of this event is it is HUGE from a spectator stand point but the race car count has stayed the same for years. I'd like to get more people out there racing and buy opening the classes up a bit and combining them I feel this is possible.

Thank you all.

I'm pumped to run in the new street eliminator class. I'm interested in seeing the turnout of this class however for evos. Seems like the evo guys have stock appearing setups until they go t3/t4 style to which so many guys jump to a forward facing setup then it seems like. Not a whole of evo guys running standard placed big turbo cars. Excited to see the outcome!

There is a list of the most popular hotels at the bottom of the first post in this thread. I'd call soon and get reservations.

Yea, a lot of the places are already sold out. I got a room at Super 8 a few weeks back and they said they had plenty of rooms left.

Wow! it looks like the event grew so much over the years.
Awesom job David for taking your time and resources to make this happen every year.

Anyone know how long it takes to get to Buschur Racing from NJ?

Last year I drove from Rockaway, NJ (north NJ) and took route 80 across PA and it took like 7.5 hours I believe. But I also stopped for food along the way.

I'm in North Jersey.
It would be fun to drive to Ohio with a bunch of EVO's if possible.

Looks like I might do it this year.

I do it with a bunch of close DSM/Evo buddies every year from MA, it's a blast from beginning to end.

See you all this year too
