TPG Tuning and the FP Zero - Good to go for MIR! Teaser inside...

Quick little vid of the racecar. This week needs to go by very, very fast. It's been a long two years since I was last at MIR - car was sidelined last year due to a failing cam and then crank. Looking forward to getting back at it with the most potent stock appearing turbo ever created...it's FP Zero time.

Who else is going to Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals!?

Wow that setup looks killer. Definitely saw some torque steer in the vid. The power band on this setup must be fun being a 2.3.

Hitting the local track tomorrow. In 2011, I went 0.4 seconds quicker at MIR, so tomorrow should be a good gauge for what I can expect out of it at WCF. It's currently making about 550wtq on the Mustang dyno. Keep you guys posted.

Well, went to the local junk track today for some shakedown passes on the FP Zero, aka the baddest stock frame on planet earth. I only had one full 1/4 mile pass due the track wimps limiting every other run to the 1/8th mile because of wind gusts.

Unfortunately, speedometer sensor was shot, so I could not use the two step on my one and only full 1/4 pass. As a result, I had a 1.9 60ft and went on to a 10.56@151mph...that's a new MPH record folks.

The TPG guys wired in a new sensor at the track and as a result, the next three 1/8mile passes were: 6.30@120, 6.48@118 (got really squirrely), and new PB of 6.26@121mph!

For reference, on my first full 1/4 pass, my 1/8 ET was 7.2@114, lol.

In 4 days, we will find out what this turbo can really do on the best track under ideal conditions. Also planning on switching out the E85 for some sweet, sweet FTW fuel. It's time to break a stock appearing record and we are going to give it everything we've got. I'll keep you guys posted.

10.0 compression. So far, 722whp on E85 - low boost (34 psi). No timing added. It packs a serious punch and we haven't really pushed it at all. Check out my GoPro vids. So far it has done a best of 6.26@121mph in the 1/8th. In fact, we turned down the boost at the track for the passes since they were meant to be shakedown. Only got one pass in the 1/4 and it trapped 151mph while rolling out in first gear and blowing the tires off in second. We will be testing it at MIR in 3 days.

I keep hearing that they are strict. We are fitting my car with an engine diaper and cage before Thursday. I'm not traveling 5+hrs only to be booted for something stupid. Hopefully that will be enough.
