Talking New Best!!

Ran a new best last night at Rockingham dragway. The track was pretty slick at times. It would hook for a few runs then be super slick.

Stock injectors, Stock intercooler, Stock IC piping.

60' 1.859
330' 5.218
1/8 7.954
MPH 89.22
1000 10.297
1/4 12.241
MPH 118.44

4th gear was moving out strong.

Highest mph was 118.7 mph

Best sixty foot was a 1.688

I had two high rpm launches that usually produce good sixty foot times. Those two launces ended up in 4 wheel burnouts and never hooked up until 2nd gear shift.

MODs are:

Helix 3" downpipe
UR 3" testpipe
B&B Catback
HKS Super AFR
Dynoflash Mail in
Walbro 255
HKS 264 Cams
HKS GDmax twin plate clutch
B&M short shifter

My friend should be posting videos up shortly.

I got them from Mark at Quantum racing. Got them around the first of January. Got them at the old price because some were laying on the shelf. I think Vivid and Z1auto may have some in stock. The car is running pretty good now.

Hi Brian

I noticed that u r using the HKS clutch. How do u launch it? I having problems getting off the line. The clutch just bites so hard that mny car bogs. Any suggestions? I using launch control set @6-6.5k rpm.

Great MPH!!!!! Very good time. I'm impressed. What was the reaction among the spectators to see a daily driver four banger running 118 mph???? I believe that is the fastest mph for a stock turbo without nitrous. Buschur is 117. What was Rollaway's MPH?

you must either be the best driver here or you have a strong car, I am leaning towards the latter. I agree with trbo dad. mouthing people = those times are very respectable.

I will get my 11.99. The track was not hooking very well. I normally get 1.72 to 1.74 60' times. I could not launch very well at this track. I will go to my normal track that hooks better and try for the 11.99.

I launch about 5500 RPM and slip the clutch out. It usually hooks up pretty well.

I will get it scanned today or tonight and try to post it. If I can't get it to post, I can send it to someone to post it.
