My first trip to the dragstrip with the evo

So I finally made it out to our local 1/8 strip which isn't the greatest. I had to split my time between driving my car and tuning/working on my bike for an event the next day.

For my first couple passes I was happy. I know the 60' needs to come down. This was on stock tires at full tire psi.

I did a couple test launches in my driveway before we left and the first was pretty much like I made in all three passes. But that 2nd one felt way different and better lol. Followed by the clutch smell. So I know I can launch the car now, I just gotta get in my routine. I had some butterflies before I got my first pass in.

Now for a couple pics and the tickets. Photobucket kept saying my downloaded vids had been removed so no vids right now

Drop tires down to eighteen pounds. The smell is you are slipping your clutch too long. Since you launch two wheelers, you will be able to better your 60's with little practice. On a car you do not slide the clutch as far out, get the clutch the whole way out as soon as possible.
