Wanted some feedback on how my car did at test and tune tonight.

Car is 06 SSL model. 272 cams, fp red 28psi, e85. Street tires. Made 501/414 on a dynojet in much cooler weather.

It was hot and humid out tonight.

Also, I tapped the limiter in 3rd a few times going through the trap. That was my only option other than shifting to 4th which would've killed my time.

I think in cooler weather, a better launch and little rev limiter adjustment it could hit 7.4-7.5 ?

That should be a 12 1/4 mile.

 

That's depressing. I think the fact that I was tapping the limiter, which wouldn't happen in a 1/4 would put me under a 12 in the 1/4.

Buddy has mhi red and he runs 11.4 consistent. Power shifting.

 

Yeah I need a shep trans and tcase before I can do all that.

I guess lol. I dont power shift cause i cant. Sounds pretty gay lol but ive never been able to do it even in the cable tranny honda days.
